In order to use your rareBit PRO Flags with an Apple Watch, users must have a Relay device. For convenience and reusability, rareBit has released RXRLY Firmware which enables the PRO Receiver to act as the relay device. Users can download this firmware and load it onto their PRO Receiver as shown in the demonstration video.
The rareBit Relay is a small device that relays page alerts to a smartwatch. The device is meant to be carried by the Referee during the match. This allows use of smartwatch apps as a way to receive haptic alerts from rareBit Flags. Users may use this device instead of the PRO Receiver. Please note however, this device does NOT deliver vibratory haptic alerts. It acts a wireless relay only.
