This Privacy Policy describes how the Smart Referee Paging System app (“the App”) handles information when you use it on your iPhone or Apple Watch. We are committed to protecting your privacy. In short: we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The App is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanner and GATT client designed exclusively to communicate with a proprietary ecosystem of custom Bluetooth hardware devices used by professional football match officials. It does not connect to the internet, does not require an account, and does not share any information with third parties.

Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, process, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)

• Location data

• Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us

• Device identifiers or advertising IDs

• Health or fitness data

• Contacts, calendars, photos, or media

 

Bluetooth Usage

The App requires access to your device’s Bluetooth radio in order to scan for and connect to compatible BLE hardware devices within the Smart Referee Paging System ecosystem. Bluetooth is used solely for local, device-to-device communication.

No Bluetooth scan results, device identifiers, or GATT data are transmitted over the internet or stored beyond the active session. All communication occurs exclusively between your iPhone or Apple Watch and the paired hardware device in your immediate vicinity.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch companion app receives real-time alerts directly from a hardware relay device within the Smart Referee Paging System ecosystem. These alerts originate from Assistant Referee hardware devices during a live football match and are delivered to the Apple Watch via Bluetooth — no iPhone intermediary is involved. No data from the Apple Watch is stored, logged, or sent anywhere outside of the device itself.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. No SDKs that collect user data are included in the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for use by professional football match officials and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
